 I.Overview
 1.Objectives: 
 - By the end of this lesson, students will be able to pronounce the sounds of the 
 letters th and ch in the words fourth , March respectively.
 - Develop listening, reading and writing skills.
 - Attitude: friendly and communicate.
 2.Language focus:
 - Phonics: th and ch in the words fourth , March .
 3.Resources:
 -Techniques: + Whole class , in pairs and individual ,in groups
 -Teaching aids: Books, pictures, word cards, extra board, tape, cassette.
 II.Procedures

1.Warm up. . Pupils sing the chant Month of the year page 27. Whole class

 sentences on the board .Play the recording more than once. Let pupils say the words and the Individual .
 sentences paying attention to the target sounds.
 -Do choral and individual repetition of the sound, 
 words and sentences until pupils feel confident.
 -Get some pupils to perform in front of the class.
3.Listen and 
circle. Then -Tell pupils that they are going to listen to the Whole class 
write and say recording and circle the right words and then 
aloud. (10’) write,read the sentences aloud
 - Introduce the activity and give a few seconds for 
 pupils to read the text.
 -Pupils read the words before listening the 
 recording.
 -Play the recording for pupils to circle the words. Individual
 And set the time limit for pupils to complete the 
 sentences, then check the answers.
 -Pupil call out the answers and then say aloud

 + Work in pairs/ groups.
 - Teaching aids: student’s book and teacher’s book, word cards, pictures, tape, 
 cassette, puppets.

 3.Resources:
 - Techniques: + Whole class, work in pairs, individual ,in group 
 +Teaching aids: Tape cassette, pictures, poster, word cards.

 - Techniques: Whole class, work in pairs, work individually, work in pairs 
 - Teaching aids: Tape cassette, pictures, poster, word cards.
 II.Procedure.

1.Warm up. - Pupils to sing the English song. Whole class
